In Memory

Jeanette Ann Harras

Jeanette Ann Harras

Jeannie and I were friends since we were 9 years old. Best friends from junior high through college and beyond. Jeannie was an accomplished pianist and soloist performing with the Spokane Chorale. She played for me whenever I sang solos from junior high through college. She enjoyed traveling, volunteering for the local police station recording their messages, and volunteering on local committees. She was very organized, opinionated, always open to having fun, and didn't suffer fools easily. She completed her short bucket list and was determined to be mobile to the end by walking every day. A very private person, she did not want a service or obituary after she died. She has left a huge hole in my heart and the hearts of those who loved her.
